WC Postcard Status: Available!

August 23rd, 2010 | by S.G. McKeithen
Posted In: Blog

Hey hey hey! That thing? That thing I’ve been linking to for months and occasionally mentioning? The thing that starts with “Webcomic” and ends with “Charity”?

The postcards are finally available! Originally this was going to be done auction-style with people bidding on the postcard they wanted, but the awesometastic Yamino who’s put this whole thing together has instead set it up much more simply. You just place an order ($5 per postcard) and voila – it’s yours.

Look at that. Isn’t it awesome? You could totally have one and support the Kiva cause at the same time. Every dollar that goes into this is going straight to them.

And to make the whole thing even MORE awesome, each postcard will have a message from one of the Half Death characters written on it! This is the only time you’ll ever be able to get this card too; once the charity is over they’ll never be printed again. So what are you waiting for? Get one!

Alright, postcard-whoring aside, sorry there was no new blog post or picture last week. I was out of town and have been crazy busy ever since I got back. There’s a new incentive now though which is continuing the When They Were Younguns theme, so enjoy!

I Want My MTV

August 9th, 2010 | by S.G. McKeithen

Man, I remember when MTV was cool. Seems like so long ago.

I had to go do some research for the new vote incentive to see if the channel was still decent when Darrell was a kid. I can’t imagine growing up without a music station; I’ve never watched a lot of TV, but MTV and VH1 were always my favorite channels when they were cool.

Not much else to say this week!

Update Schedule Change

August 5th, 2010 | by S.G. McKeithen

Starting next week, Half Death will be updating on Tuesdays and Thursdays until further notice.

This is only temporary while I’m moving; as soon as I’m settled in my new location I’m going to do my best to get things back onto a triweekly schedule. I hate doing biweekly updates, it takes forever to get anywhere that way.

Call For Guest Strips

August 1st, 2010 | by S.G. McKeithen

This week’s vote incentive is, as requested by you (yes, YOU), another example of how much I can’t draw kids!

I updated the Artwork page today with a fuckton of old vote incentives for your viewing pleasure. I remember to update things on my own sometimes!

Call For Guest Strips!

I’m moving out of state at the end of August, which means things might get a little shaky here schedule-wise in the next few weeks. While I don’t foresee updates stopping completely, I’d be incredibly appreciative to any artists out there who’d be willing to draw me up a guest strip or two that I can post while this move is happening. Give me one less thing to have to worry about, y’know?

If you’re interested, draw me up something and email it to me at legolianm@gmail.com. Be sure to specify what name you would want me to credit it to, as well as a URL to your website/deviantart page (if you have one) so I can promote your awesomeness. If you have any questions, leave me a comment here and I’ll answer them for you!

…go go Power Rangers….. doo DOO doo dooo dooo…….
