Hmm.. that makes me wonder how much of an accent Julian still has. If he’s been traveling around a lot for a few hundred years, it might have mellowed… or not. I know a brit who never lost his and he’s been living in new zealand and america for much of his adult life.
well… as far as i know, in my case, most part of the foreing persons i have met until this far, have never lost their accent, despite the quantity of years they’ve been living in Chile… in my case… for Chileans it is quite easy to “gain” another spanish speakers accent… which bothers me a lot…
and i think i’ll go to take a look to that tv show… it’s been recorded in Cardiff right? were Torchwood was being filmed too, right?
What we think of as a British accept is not the way English was spoken when Julian was born. I think British English has changed more than American English has since then. So, if Julian visited England they would take him for an American.
Greetings :D Is it OK that I go a bit off topic? I am trying to read your domain on my Macbook but it doesn’t display properly, do you have any suggestions? Thank you for the help I hope! Lillian x :)
