My band’s lead guitarist actually taught his friend bass so that we could have a bassist and our first bassist could do rhythm guitar instead (since the lead guitarist wanted to write more complicated bass rifts than our lazy first bassist would learn/play). Turns out the guy who had only been playing for 3 months was much better in shows than the first guy. S’only 4 strings, Taylor could probably pick it up if he wanted.
Or, for total randomness, Jules is old enough to probably know how to play various string instruments. Bahaha. Don’t think Darrell would go for that at aaaaall.
I’ve always found bass to be easy to pick up, but then, I started out as a drummer as a kid so keeping a rhythm comes more natural to me than playing acoustic or electric guitar. Plus I get to count, which makes my OCD happy.

I can’t keep a beat at all. Meaning I would be terrible at just about every instrument I try to play.
Doesn’t stop me though, hur hur. Just stops me from taking official lessons anymore since I’m tired of teachers yelling at me that I’m off.
