The new vote incentive is something I sketched a while ago with the FULL intention of finishing it up with inks and color. Except it wound up in a pile of papers and I only just now found it again. Heheh. This happens often.
If/When I get around to finishing it, I’m definitely going to fix the drum kit so it actually looks the way it’s supposed to look. And so it isn’t cut off by the bottom of the paper.
Man, I could never sell original artwork. My pencil sketches are awful.
Hey, did you know that I’m having a commission sale? No? Check out this blog post!
I find last names really interesting, too. My parents used to think it was strange that I knew all the last names of all my friends, since it’s apparently something that little kids don’t bother to do? o_o;; I dunno, I always wanted to know so I wouldn’t call their parents “Mr. Brian’s Dad,” even though I did that intentionally sometimes just to be a brat. >_>;; (Though, the parents always found it cute, so…boo.)
Unrelated note: Does the sneezing girl have a mullet….? o_____O;;;;
Yes… Yes she does…
Very convenient placed sneeze.
I never know people’s last names. And sometimes not their first. I usually give them new names and call them that constantly, and refer to them as that, and tell other people that, yes, Country/Poppy/Rinbow/Cow IS their real name.
To me at least.
Sometimes “tennis boy” or “artsy girl” are easier to remember. Especially if they’re people you only meet occasionally, are friends with another friend (so someone knows who you’re talking about), and you don’t hear their real name very often.
every now and then i participate in a local community play group and by the end i know everyone by the name of the part they played instead of their real names. it has ticked a few people off when i see them months later and still call them by the part they played.
