This week’s vote incentive is a practice sketch of one of the possible cosplay outfits Taylor may wear to Anime Expo. Thanks for your suggestions on who he could dress up as!
If you have an idea for a different outfit that’s just totally amazing and you must see him in it, I’m still taking suggestions in The Mortuary. Feedback is AWESOME.
In other news, I started a Real Job this week. First job I’ve had in a year, first time I’ve worked since I started drawing Half Death. This is definitely taking a toll on my art time. Due to the fact that there are a few date-specific comics coming up, I won’t be changing the update schedule, but I just wanted you to know why I’m not commenting around and chatting quite so much right now. I’ve gone from having a ton of free time to ZERO, which sucks, but at least I’m earning my own cash again instead of getting paid to sit at home in my PJs.

Congrats on the Real Job! Those are getting kind of hard to find. Hope it’s fun ^^ Thanks for keeping our updates going.
Congratulation! I’m sure you’re PJs will miss you, but somehow, you’ll both get by spending less time together.
Good Luck on the Real Job!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with sitting at home in your PJs and getting paid for it … I wish someone was paying me for sitting at home in my PJs like I do … Heh. It would make things so much easier … Anyway, if you are glad to be working, then I am glad you are working. I know the frustration of a year spent looking for a job – it’s pretty typical here in Georgia. I had been spoiled in Minneapolis, where I lived for 5 1/2 years, where there were more jobs than people to fill them and I could take my pick; then I move down here and suddenly I can’t find work to save my life. Now I’m disabled, so at least that stress is off my back … of course, I’m waiting on the Social Security people to run me through all their little hoops; it’s already been 10 months and I imagine it’ll be another year or two and a hearing before I’m approved for disability payments. So annoying, but that’s the way it goes.
I actually HATE that I’m working, but I’m a long ways off from making it as a comic artist and my unemployment benefits are ending soon. Trust me, if I had it my way I would never have to do anything other than sit here and draw in my pajamas. XD
